Jim Eck
President
QUADRATUS ROLE: Company President with extensive knowledge and practical experience of the construction industry including Pre-Construction services, budgeting, cost control, cost estimating, and value engineering. He excels at maintaining a keen attention to every client’s budget model for maximum efficiency and value. With his background in business development, community relations, networking and negotiation combined with his strong customer relation skills he is instrumental in initiating and nurturing successful partnerships for overall project success.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE: Prior to founding QCM with his partners, Jim was honored to be part of a national Design/Build firm based in Florida where his project portfolio included Food Service, Distribution, Manufacturing, Microelectronics and Aerospace. Returning home to the Lehigh Valley, his most recent project portfolio encompasses several Hotels, an Office Park, Medical Offices, a Ski Lodge and Cigar Distribution center. Quadratus Construction Management is pleased to have added several shining stars of the Lehigh Valley to their portfolio, including Maxim’s 22 restaurant in Easton and St. Luke’s Neurology facility in Bethlehem.

Ed Chase
Vice President
QUADRATUS ROLE: Vice President of Field Operations and Safety Director. Detail oriented and quality driven on-site manager focused on excellence while achieving project goals and exceeding client expectations. We specialize in value engineering and delivering effective solutions for each client’s unique requirements.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE: Prior to founding QCM with his partners, Ed was a Project Superintendent and Safety Director with a variety of distinguished commercial construction management firms enabling him intimate knowledge in many industries; corporate headquarters, hotels/hospitality, medical facilities, light industrial/distribution, auto dealerships, retail and most notably restaurants, from conception to occupancy.
His lifelong immersion in the construction industry permitted him to gain unparalleled knowledge in all aspects of a successful management project, from laborer to owner. He is a hands-on manager who can and will do everything necessary to keep the project positively moving forward for the client.

Kevin Clowser

Professional Experience:
Prior to QCM, Kevin was working as a project manager for a commercial and industrial roofing company, simultaneously handling multiple contracts in healthcare, biomedical, and educational/university projects in Philadelphia and New Jersey, specifically pertaining to the building envelope. He has an eye for identifying project-specific challenges and coming to practical solutions from a cost and design perspective. Before entering commercial construction, Kevin gained experience as an owner-operator of his own property management company, high-end residential estimating, and utility work.

Dillon Murphy
Assistant Project Manager
QUADRATUS ROLE: Assistant project manager
Assistant project manager entering the field of construction management with an education from Temple University’s School of Art and Architecture in 2020, graduating with a B.S in Facilities/Project Management and Architectural Design. Prior to joining QCM in the fall of 2021, Dillon worked as a supervisor and customer service worker in grocery retail, helping to build high quality interpersonal and communication skills while working in a fast-paced environment. These skills, combined with his education in the fields of construction and building planning, help Dillon work efficiently on projects while maintaining strong relationships with clients, subcontractors and colleagues.
Bill Menalis

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE: With over 34 years of experience prior to joining QCM, Bill was a Project Superintendent and Safety Director with a variety of distinguished commercial construction management firms enabling him intimate knowledge in many industries; corporate headquarters, hotels/hospitality, medical facilities, light industrial/distribution, among others from conception to occupancy.
His lifelong immersion in the construction industry permitted him to gain unparalleled knowledge in all aspects of a successful management project, from carpenter helper to Superintendent. He is a hands-on manager who can and will do everything necessary to keep the project positively moving forward for the client.

Vince Calantoni

Detail oriented and quality driven on-site manager focused on excellence while achieving project goals and exceeding client expectations.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE: With over 20 years of experience prior to joining QCM, Vince was a concrete and waterproofing contractor specializing in high end residential housing and commercial projects. His lifelong immersion in the concrete aspects of the construction industry from footings, foundations, slabs on grade, sidewalks, retaining walls, and any other item concrete related along with his waterproofing expertise gives him a unique perspective on the building blocks of a successful project.

Chuck O’Donnell

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE: With over 40 years of experience prior to joining QCM, Chuck was a Project Superintendent with a local commercial construction management firms enabling him intimate knowledge in many industries; Data centers, corporate headquarters, hotels/hospitality, medical facilities, light industrial/distribution, and warehouses among others from conception to occupancy.
His lifelong immersion in the construction industry permitted him to gain unparalleled knowledge in all aspects of a successful management project, from carpenter helper to Superintendent. He is a hands-on manager who can and will do everything necessary to keep the project positively moving forward for the client.

Alan Gulbierz
Project Manager
QUADRATUS ROLE: Project Manager
Professional Experience:
Prior to QCM, Alan received his Master’s Degree in Construction Engineering Management from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2021. He then went on to become a project manager for a windows, doors and siding company in the Philadelphia area specializing in apartment complexes, new construction and residential homes. Through his education and experience in the field, Alan gained an ability to strategically plan and oversee multiple projects to a successful completion.
Lee Christman
Superintendent
QUADRATUS ROLE: Project Superintendent
Professional Experience: Lee has over 40 years experience in the construction industry, with the last 16 years working as a site superintendent and 30+ years as a foreman before that. In addition, he has hands on experience in various trades such as concrete, carpentry/drywall and plumbing while dabbling in other trades. He has worked on a multitude of projects types, including medical office buildings, school renovations, residential projects, etc. In addition to his work in construction, Lee is also an active board member for Whitehall Township, working on the zoning board for over 12 years and serving as Chairperson 5 times.
Jason Grube
Superintendent
QUADRATUS ROLE: Project Superintendent
Professional Experience:
Jason has spent the majority of his career in the construction industry, working various positions such as laborer, carpenter, mason, and foreman. Most recently, Jason has spent the last 10 years as a project superintendent in which he manages the day-to-day operations of projects including quality control and subcontractor coordination. Jason’s extensive experience and understanding of multiple construction roles proves to be invaluable in his ability to manage all types of fit out and ground up projects.
